"I'm gonna be hungry as a monkey," says Zoe in reference to tonight's pizza dinner.

This morning she was telling me about the farm animals she saw in her room - real ones, not pretend. "It was kinda like a video," she explained. A dream, I think.

So often she says things that make me smile, but too often I forget them immediately.

Betcha can't tell which child decorated which reindeer!

Okay, I'll give you a hint. Vincent's reindeer has started to shed its antlers. I hung it up just as it began to shed ears.

Eighteen Months Today

Oh so trite, and oh so true: my baby is growing up fast! He is now more little boy than baby. Sigh.

Height: 33 3/4 inches, 87th percentile

Head circumference: 50 1/4 centimeters, 97th percentile

Puhtographer

I've been trying to get some decent picture of Zoe and Vincent posing together. Herding cats, anyone? In order to get at least one child to cooperate, I allow Zoe to use the camera if she poses nicely. In her words, we "play puhtographer." Watching Zoe wave the camera around as she tries to depress the correct button, I would never anticipate such good results. She took some really fun shots!
